Located in a turn-of-the-century house in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, about 35 miles from Nashville, The Nurture Nook Day Spa & Gift Shoppe fosters a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Original woodwork, lofty ceilings, and fireplaces in the four treatment rooms add to the interior charm, while fragrances and soft music enhance the tranquil environment. The spa menu features 13+ styles of bodywork and massage such as the signature Hinoki Four Handed Hot Oil Massage, as well as facials, hand and foot therapy, meditation, and breath work; add-ons include paraffin dips, scalp massage, and Accurhythm. Before or after services, guests can browse the gift shop or unwind in the meditation room (appointment is required).

Elements Massage - Nashville Green Hills

Swedish - Light to medium pressure massage used for relaxation and to reduce stress.

Deep Tissue - Focused and specific work that uses firm pressure to penetrate the layers of muscle to help relieve pain and release knots and tension.

Aromatherapy - Essential oils can, in combination with massage, provide physical and emotional benefits resulting in a greater sense of relaxation and calm.

Himalayan Salt Stones - Incorporates the use of salt crystals mined from the foothills of the Himalayas that are hand-carved into stones.

Prenatal - Primarily consists of Swedish massage techniques and may incorporate some stretching to relieve tension and pain. Prenatal massage has been shown to help to reduce stress, decrease swelling, relieve aches and pains, and reduce anxiety.

Trigger Point Work - Integrated into a medium or deep tissue massage session and provides focused attention and pressure on highly localized knots and areas of tension.

Sports Massage - Is specifically designed for people involved in physical activity, although one does not have to be an athlete to receive one. It can include stretching, compression, and range of motion techniques as well as deep tissue and Swedish strokes.

Oncology Massage - Is shown to be highly beneficial to those receiving cancer treatment. As with other types of massage, Oncology Massage can help reduce stress, decrease swelling, relieve aches and pains, and help reduce anxiety.
