Founded on September of 2010, the JPs Massage Therapy Center was born of the desire of making financially accesible the benefits of massage. Town Barre is a fitness studio in Marblehead with daily classes specializing in barre and kickboxing. Barre is a low impact, high intensity workout that targets every muscle group in the body and is safe for all ages and fitness levels. The classes provide opportunities to modify or intensity all exercises, so you feel comfortable getting started and stay challenged as you get stronger. Workouts use small props and body weight as resistance; paired with upbeat music to keep you having fun during the entire kick-ass workout!

TOWN BARRE

Classic Barre is our signature barre class and is perfect for beginners and experienced barre-goers alike! Classes consist of high intensity yet low impact exercises, making barre a great workout option for all ages and fitness levels. Barre workouts are challenging for muscles but easy on joints and every exercise can be modified.

Class begins with a warm-up then light hand weights are used to tone the arms. Class then moves to the barre to exercise the leg and seat muscles. Class ends with core work and a cool down stretch. Classic Barre classes provide a total body workout that will tone, strengthen and lengthen from head to toe! Barre socks are required for this class and are sold in studio.

In addition to autoclaving, all of our pedicure tubs are sterilized with a bleach solution before every use
