I'm a licensed medical massage therapist. Medical Massage is an outcome-based massage. I look at the complaint the client presents with (pain, reduced range of motion, etc.) as a symptom. My goal is to find the source(s) of the problem to allow for greater release and relief. I utilize multiple modalities/techniques as needed for the individual and apply the techniques specific for the conditions to bring about specific outcomes. As a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals, I maintain the highest level professional code of ethics and practice mandated by this national organization. I have a passion for relieving pain, whether the pain originates from an injury, chronic pain, or the stresses of life. I believe that receiving massage on a regular basis counteracts the stress that can cause many physical and emotional problems. I strive to tailor each session to the individual client, by practicing a client-focused approach that values open communication.
