Bread and Yoga

Bread and Yoga is a community focused studio founded in 2009 in Inwood, Northern Manhattan. We acknowledge that we are on Lenape territory. We also acknowledge that we benefit from a healing practice that is not from our lineage. We strive to honor the land our community resides on, the practices and teachings that have been passed to us, and the power that those practices can have in the healing of our communities. OUR MISSION — We strive to be a gathering and healing space that challenges attitudes that are racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, classist, agist and sizeist. We offer services that support the personal growth and wellbeing of all the humans – big and small – in the communities that we serve.
